Liz Mejia, Legal Assistant
Liz Mejia helps us as a legal assistant. Born in Guatemala City Quetzaltenango, she has lived here in Austin, Texas for 18 years. She is the proud mother of two children, Chris, 16, and Josue, 12.
Liz has been working with KITCHENS LAW FIRM, P.C., helping with finances and administration, and with our clients who speak Spanish as their first language. It is a great pleasure for her to be able to help our Spanish speaking clients with legal questions, including informing them that regardless of their immigration status, they have the right to pursue legal claims and be compensated for any damages that they may have are due to car collisions or other legal claims.

Amanda De La Rosa, Paralegal & Office Manager
Amanda De La Rosa is an accomplished Managing Paralegal and Office Manager with over 13 years of paralegal experience, including 5 years focused in civil litigation. She brings extensive knowledge in case management, discovery, trial preparation, and office operations, supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.
Known for her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage high-volume caseloads, Amanda is a key contributor to efficient workflows and successful case outcomes. She leads case management and office operations with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and strategic support
Outside of her professional role, Amanda is a proud mother of twin girls, balancing a demanding legal career with family life.
Joyce Medina, Legal Assistant
Joyce has gained valuable hands-on experience in the legal field through internships with law firms and nonprofit organizations. She is deeply passionate about serving others, particularly individuals in underserved communities, and is proud to contribute to the meaningful work at Kitchens Law Firm.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Joyce plans to attend law school and become the first attorney in her family. Outside of her academic and professional commitments, Joyce enjoys thrifting, attending concerts, and watching horror films. She has also been a dedicated fan of professional wrestling since the age of 12.
Annette Patrick, Paralegal
Annette brings more than 20 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal to Kitchens Law Firm. Her extensive background includes managing cases throughout every stage of the legal process, from initial client intake and pre-litigation through litigation and settlement.
Above all, Annette is known for her compassion and genuine commitment to helping clients navigate what can often be a difficult and stressful time. She approaches each client with professionalism, patience, and sensitivity. Her ability to build trust and provide compassionate support is one of the greatest strengths she brings to her work.
Annette is excited to continue her career with Kitchens Law Firm and appreciates the opportunity to broaden her legal experience by working on a variety of matters beyond personal injury.
Outside the office, Annette enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her three sons and their families. She is a proud grandmother of five, with grandchildren ranging in age from thirteen years to thirteen months. She also enjoys the company of her chocolate Labrador, Connor, and her tabby cat, Beannie.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Annette is a devoted Longhorn fan and enjoys following UT sports.
