Meet Our Staff

Liz Mejia, Legal Assistant
Liz Mejia helps us as a legal assistant. Born in Guatemala City Quetzaltenango, she has lived here in Austin, Texas for 18 years. She is the proud mother of two children, Chris, 16, and Josue, 12.
Liz has been working with KITCHENS LAW FIRM, P.C., helping with finances and administration, and with our clients who speak Spanish as their first language. It is a great pleasure for her to be able to help our Spanish speaking clients with legal questions, including informing them that regardless of their immigration status, they have the right to pursue legal claims and be compensated for any damages that they may have are due to car collisions or other legal claims.

Hope Harris, Paralegal
Hope is originally from a small town in the Dallas/Fort Worth area but has resided in Austin, TX since graduating from college.
She is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Additionally, she has a Paralegal Certificate from the Center for Professional Education through UT. Hope has 5+ years of paralegal experience.
Hope has worked in personal injury law for over 5 years, specifically litigation, and has handled a variety of cases. She has wanted to work in the legal field since she was a child and plans to attend law school and become an attorney.
Outside of work, Hope has been volunteering for CASA of Central Texas helping at-risk children in difficult family situations. She also enjoys going on hikes, walking her two Staffordshire Terriers, Bevo & Bear, learning to cook new foods, and trying new restaurants.

Amanda De La Rosa, Paralegal
Amanda was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. She has lived in the Austin area for the last 17 years. She has an associate degree in Paralegal Studies and has 10+ years in legal assistant experience. Amanda is the proud mother of twin 16-year-old girls and an adopted 16-year-old girl and 3 fur babies.
Amanda enjoys reading , visiting museums, and cooking new foods from different countries around the world.
